If it is the majestic peaks and a taste for adventure that originally attracted me to British Columbia, what kept me from going ‘home’ is the feeling of community that I found in the beautiful town of Revelstoke. Spending the last 7 years wandering through the province, climbing, skiing, and exploring every corner of it, it is here that I finally felt like I finally found my home. And I know I’m not the only one in this situation. Our passion for adventure, our desire to explore everything the world around us as to offer and a deep love for the Selkirk and Monashee mountains surrounding us is what brought us together in this picturesque town along the Columbia River.
Spending most of my life working in the hospitality industry, from local brew pubs to fancy fine dining establishments, I developed a deep love for food (don’t we all ??) and the relaxing atmosphere of cafés.
That is where the idea of a climbing cafe germinated for a time before finally seeing the daylight. More than just a climbing gym to allow the Revelstoke community to keep their skills and arm ready for the warmer months of the years, the Climbing Café is also a place to showcase the amazing product the Kootenays have to offer.

The Climbing Café is a locally own, committed, creative climbing gym and café centered in the hearth of a thriving community. Its team of experience route setters will keep you off your feet with creative and fun routes that fit all experiences and all level. Offering diverse style of climbing, from bouldering to top rope and lead climbing as well has having a training area with the latest equipment on the market, the gym will satisfy beginners, experts, and fitness buffs alike.
We’re also offering daily made goodies, made with fresh, local ingredient. We partnered with Kootenay based producer to offer you the best our beloved home has to offer, in a relaxing and inclusive environment.
